Four-day pottery camp designed for kids ages 5-12. Students will learn basic pottery hand-building techniques including making pinch pots, coil pots, and slab rolling and will also get to take a spin on the pottery wheel. At the end of the camp, students choose their favorite 3 pieces to be fired, and will come back a few weeks later to pick up their works of art. We provide snacks and break for a quick snack break every day.

INSTRUCTOR: Izzie + Susan

DATES: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, January 7-22

TIME: 3:30-5:00pm

This class will focus on hand building as well as wheel throwing skills and learning how clay behaves. The class fee includes glazing or underglaze (painting) instruction. Students may come in for open studio time for $5 hour between classes. Clay is included. Their 3 favorite pieces will be fired free. Tax included.

If school is cancelled due to weather, we will also cancel class and offer a makeup.
